Light Duty Cleaner (NOC: 65310) Job

As a Light Duty Cleaner at Higgins Pharmacy, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean environment by performing routine cleaning tasks. This includes sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces in pharmacy areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are met. You will also assist with maintaining the overall appearance of the facility, contributing to a positive and welcoming atmosphere for both staff and customers.

Responsibilities:
• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and washing floors.
• Clean and sanitize surfaces, such as desks, countertops, windowsills, and furniture.
• Vacuum carpets, area rugs, and upholstered furniture, ensuring all areas are spotless.
• Empty trash bins and remove debris from all areas.
• Clean windows, walls, and ceilings as needed to maintain cleanliness.
• Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures for efficient task completion.
• Notify supervisor of any maintenance issues or cleaning supply shortages.
• Handle and store lost and found items appropriately.

• Previous experience in cleaning (commercial or residential) is preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to thorough and efficient cleaning.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to follow instructions and adapt to new cleaning techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
