Travelodge Sydney has immediate opening for experienced Light Duty Cleaner (NOC : 65310) at our location in Sydney, Nova Scotia.

Work Location : 480 Kings Road, Sydney, Nova Scotia, B1S 1A8
Wage : $17.00 hourly
Full-time, 40 hours / week
Number of Positions – 2

Starts as soon as possible

Job duties and responsibilities not limited to:
• Sweep, mop and wash floors
• Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting and area rugs, curtains and other furniture
• Spot-clean windows, walls and doors
• Make beds, change sheets and distribute clean towels and toiletries
• Clean changing rooms and showers
• Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies
• Stock linen closets and other supplies' areas
• Clean, disinfect and polish dining area and bathroom fixtures and appliances
• Clean and disinfect public areas
• Disinfect operating rooms and other areas
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers
• Report and store lost and found items
• May provide basic information on facilities
• May handle complaints.

Qualifications:
• Secondary school education is usually required.
• On-the-job training will be provided
• Experience as a cleaner, in housekeeping or in a relevant field is an asset.
