Twin Rivers Motel Castlegar is 2.5 km from Millennium Park & Ponds. Wi-Fi is accessible throughout the property and a car park is provided on site. Castlegar centre can be reached within 10 minutes' walk. The rooms are equipped with coffee/tea making machines, along with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels for guests' comfort. A microwave, tea and coffee making equipment, and a refrigerator are also provided for self-catering.
Duties:
• Regularly sweeping and mopping floors to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
• Using vacuum cleaners to remove dust, dirt, and debris from carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Making beds and changing linens.
• Replenishing toiletries and bathroom supplies.
• Restocking guest room amenities like soap, shampoo, and coffee supplies.
• Wiping down tiles, countertops, and mirrors
• Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, sinks, bathtubs, and showers.
• Reporting and storing items left behind by guests.
• Addressing guest requests for additional towels, pillows, or other amenities promptly.
• Assisting guests with any cleaning-related issues they may have.
• Emptying trash bins and disposing of waste properly.
Requirements for the role:
• Completion of high school is required
• Previous experience in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
