Job Description:
PGL Truck Centre Ltd., located at 118 Rutherford Road, Brampton, Ontario, requires 1 Licensed Truck Trailer Mechanic (310T) on a Permanent full-time basis.
Wage $ 37.25 per hour
Hours: 37.50 per week
Employment Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school education is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in heavy-duty truck and coach repair, including but not limited to apprenticeship experience.
• Ontario Truck and Coach Technician (310T) Certificate of Qualification (Red Seal) is required/preferred.
Additionally, 10 paid vacations and 10 sick leaves will be provided. Email- [email protected]
Job Duties:
1. Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and commercial vehicles using diagnostic equipment, repair manuals, and specialized tools.
2. Perform preventative maintenance services and mechanical repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, drivetrains, steering, suspension, braking systems, and related components.
3. Diagnose and repair air brake systems, electrical and electronic systems, hydraulic systems, fuel systems, and other vehicle operating systems.
4. Identify mechanical and safety-related issues, recommend required repairs, and ensure vehicles meet manufacturer specifications and transportation safety standards.
5. Remove, repair, replace, rebuild, and adjust defective vehicle components and assemblies.
6. Conduct road tests and operational checks after repairs to verify vehicle performance and safe operation.
7. Complete service reports, repair orders, inspection documents, and maintenance records accurately.
8. Any other relevant tasks
