Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job

Key Responsibilities

Administer medications and treatments, including wound care, catheterizations, and IV therapy
Monitor and document vital signs and patient responses to treatment
Assist in patient assessments and contribute to individualized care plans
Report changes in patient conditions to RNs and physicians promptly
Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and post-care instructions
Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation in EMR systems
Support a clean and safe care environment by following clinical protocols and infection control standards
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure cohesive and quality patient care
Qualifications & Requirements

Active LPN license in the state
Current CPR certification
Prior experience as an LPN preferred (new grads welcome to apply)
Strong knowledge of nursing procedures, medication administration, and wound care
Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic medical records (EMR)
Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
