2837269 Ontario Inc. O/A Prestige Eye Wear has immediate opening for a Licensed Optician (TEER: 32100) at our location in Mississauga, Ontario.
As a Licensed Optician (TEER: 32100), you will perform some or all of the following duties:
? Greet customers and assess their eyewear needs through consultations.
? Interpret and verify optical prescriptions to provide accurate fittings.
? Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses that suit their style and vision requirements.
? Educate customers on proper eyewear care and maintenance.
? Conduct adjustments and repairs on eyewear as needed.
? Maintain an organized display of eyewear products to enhance the shopping experience.
? Process sales transactions efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
? Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations within the retail environment.
? Stay updated on current optical trends, products, and technologies.

Qualifications:
? Completion of a two year college program in opticianry.
? Licensing by a regulatory body for opticians is required.
? At least one year experience.
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time (32 hours/week)
Compensation: $ 36.10/hour
