Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) Job

Key Responsibilities
• Assist patients with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Measure and record vital signs including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families
• Assist healthcare professionals with medical procedures such as gastric lavage, suture removal, injections, and tube feeding
• Support inhalation therapy and behavioral health care needs as directed
• Ensure a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients
• Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare staff to implement care plans
• Assist in the sterile processing and handling of medical equipment
• Document patient care and observations accurately in electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications & Requirements
• Valid LNA certification or completion of an accredited nursing assistant program
• Previous experience in caregiving or a healthcare support role preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology and common procedures
• Proficiency with EMR systems is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow instructions and perform tasks with attention to detail
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment
