Duties

Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
Help patients with feeding and hydration needs.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms and common areas.
Support patients with disabilities by adapting care techniques to meet individual needs.
Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans effectively.
Document patient information accurately in medical records.
Assist in critical care situations by following established protocols.
Provide dementia care with patience and understanding to enhance the quality of life for those affected.
Utilize aseptic techniques when performing tasks to prevent infection.
Requirements
Certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of a Nursing Assistant training program is preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology and basic anatomy is essential for effective communication and care delivery.
Experience in pediatrics or working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
Familiarity with catheter care procedures is an asset.
Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality of care.
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays.
