Although we can be classified as chiropractic care, led by Dr. Neil Wensink, clinic director and chiropractor, we offer a team approach including effective treatments and techniques provided by our in-house licensed massage therapist and our physical therapy and rehabilitation specialist.

By utilizing the skills, experience and education of all three areas we are able to more effectively treat patients recovering from an accident, healing a sports injury, reducing pain and discomfort or interested in optimal sports performance.

**Job Overview:**

We are looking for a Massage Therapist to join our team at our clinic in North Olmsted. Being BWC certified is a plus, but we would be willing to help with certification as we deal with injured workers.

Superior Spine Care is a Multidisciplinary Clinic offering Chiropractic, Physical Therapy, Massage Therapy, and Acupuncture. We mostly treat musculoskeletal conditions such as Migraines, Sciatica, Thoracic Outlet, as well as Sports, Work, and Automobile Injuries

We are looking for someone who loves to learn and incorporates lots of different techniques into their Massage practice. We place a high emphasis on patient-centered care and being able to problem solve with whatever the patient presents with on each visit.

Our clinic is open Monday through Thursday, 9-1 and 2-6. We offer flexible scheduling, and we do allow time between appointments so the therapists and patients do not feel rushed. We would schedule between 3-6 clients per day. Currently the ideal candidate would be available Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Pay is competitive, and many of our clients do tip. We also offer pay for doing laundry and light cleaning around the office.

**Duties:**

- Perform massage and body treatments in accordance with Practice protocols

- Assess client needs and recommend appropriate massage techniques

- Maintain cleanliness of therapy rooms and common areas

- Ensure individualized guest service through acknowledging and responding to their needs

- Promote the health and wellness benefits to clients receiving massage therapy on a regular basis

**Requirements:**

- Physiology knowledge

- Medical terminology

- Patient assessment skills

- Acute pain management techniques

- Proficiency in deep tissue massage

- Understanding of occupational health practices

- Exceptional patient service skills

- Anatomy knowledge

- Ability to conduct physical examinations
