is in need of Level 2 Painter

Employment Terms: Full Time - Permanent

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. To consistently and efficiently perform quality painting by:
a. Completing all basic priming and painting duties;
b. Assisting in masking products when multi colors are required;
c. Following the specifications;
d. Following established procedures;
e. Inspecting own work if inspection status is assigned to them;
f. Maintaining equipment in proper working condition at all times;
g. Successfully completing any required training upgrades.

2. To perform all work in a safe manner by:
a. Doing the work consistent with established procedures and safety standards;
b. Successfully completing any required training upgrades;
c. Participating in the 6S program;
d. Showing responsibility for self, and others, at all times;
e. Reporting any unsafe conditions or practices to the Supervisor;
f. Maintaining a clean work site, and properly functioning equipment.

3. Fully meet the Team responsibilities of his/her designated team by:
a. Fully performing the team tasks assigned to him;
b. Taking direction from Managers, Supervisors and area Crew Chiefs;
c. Contributing to the Process Improvement, Visual Workplace, and 6S initiatives;
d. Willingly assisting other team members, when required;
e. Demonstrating the ability to work with minimal supervision;
f. Providing some direction to trainees when required;
g. Being a reliable member of the team;
h. Communicating with co-workers in a positive and respectful manner consistent with the Company Mission and Values.

Employment Requirements:
1. Education: Completion of secondary school education is required
2. Work Experience: At least 1-year previous experience is required.

Working Hours: 10 hours/day, 40 hours/week; work shift: 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 1:00AM; 3 days off per week from Friday to Sunday.

Wage/Benefits: $28.70/hour / Dental Insurance, Disability Insurance, Extended Medical Insurance, and Employer provided pension program
