What You'll Do

Design legally realistic scenarios drawn from your litigation practice (motions, discovery, depositions, briefs, case strategy)
Write "golden" reference responses at attorney-level quality
Grade AI-generated responses against structured rubrics
Provide written feedback the research team uses to improve model behavior
Participate in onboarding office hours and specialty calibration sessions

Mercor is partnering with a leading AI lab to train frontier models on high-quality legal reasoning data. We're hiring Litigation Attorneys to design realistic legal scenarios, evaluate model outputs against established legal standards, and help shape how the next generation of AI reasons about civil litigation, motion practice, discovery, and trial work. We welcome practicing civil litigators, in-house litigation counsel, judicial law clerks, and senior associates in litigation. Specialists in employment litigation, patent litigation, or other litigation niches are encouraged to apply via the matching specialty listing where available.
