Job Description:
The Director of Nursing responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:
Oversee all nursing services to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate resident care.
Ensure proper assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident care.
Monitor resident outcomes and address quality-of-care concerns.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
Supervise and support nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and nurse managers).
Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and evaluate nursing staff.
Promote teamwork, professionalism, and a positive work environment.
Address staff performance issues and conduct disciplinary actions when necessary.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., CMS, state health departments).
Prepare for and participate in surveys, inspections, and audits.
Develop and implement policies and procedures consistent with regulations.
Lead quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) initiatives.

At least 3 - 5 years of nursing experience. - [REQUIRED]
Infection Preventionist Certification (or obtain within 6 months of hire, free program offered through CMS)
Experience in Matrix EMR. - [HIGHLY PREFERRED]
