Job Description:
Leader (Mfg) - 1st shift (M-F 6:30 am - 2:30 pm)
1. Assigns associates to jobs. Ensures that associates are placed according to our policies.
2. Sends associates to other departments according to policy.
3. Advises associates of rules and procedure changes.
4. Communicates procedure errors to associates and advises of correct procedures.
5. Coordinates with other departments as necessary to ensure proper and efficient movement of associates between various departments
6. Make decisions concerning what tasks ( i.e. MO's) will be worked on and staff the work as required.
7. Substitutes in the absence of supervisor, executing general tasks as well as department specific functions as required.
8. Distributes various communications - job posting notices, vacation approval slips, etc.
9. Conducts area meetings and counsels and guides area safety teams.
10. Assists with new associate orientation and training.
11. Tracks and maintains job lists.
12. Checks and approves Time Tallies for accuracy, accepts and forwards associates vacation requests, directs associates' inquiries and requests for information to proper department or point of contact.
Experience Required:
3-5 years of relevant experience.
