Position Title: Lead Engineer
Location: 175 Addison Rd, Ste. 6F, Windsor, CT 06095 and unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S.
Position Responsibilities: Prepare and manage documentation for proposed design changes, including testing results, implementation dates, and areas impacted. Work with teams across engineering, manufacturing, and operations to ensure changes align with product specifications and functional requirements. Conduct impact assessments of design changes to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. Update and maintain controlled documents, such as engineering specifications, process documentation, and CAD drawings. Ensure design changes meet GMP/ISO standards and participating in risk assessments and process validations. Facilitate smooth transitions in design updates to meet customer expectations and improve product manufacturability.
Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, or related field, PLUS five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related position. Experience must include demonstrable knowledge of: Risk Management & Compliance; Change Object Management; Implementation Oversight; Client Alignment & Strategy Development; CAD tools; Unigraphics NX; AutoCAD; CREO; Teamcenter, and; SAP ERP systems. Travel to unanticipated client locations, throughout the U.S., approximately 30% as required. May telecommute from any location within the U.S.
