Lead Engineer, Project Leader Job

Lead Engineer, Project Leader – Manage new product launch projects as assigned; Interface with all disciplines at customer level on new projects; Establish timing requirements for customer, RDC, RDC Mexico, and Ryobi Japan; Support program development through design, technical and quality assistance; Communicate program requirements and commercial needs between customer and RDC; Provide follow-up to assure timing requirements are met; Manage and control launch costs for customer tooling and capital; Conduct regular reviews of launch status (NLR) with RDC’s Executive Management Team; Support customer cost reduction VA/VE teams. Requirements - Bachelor’s or foreign degree equivalent in engineering and four years of experience in the job offered or in automotive engineering. Special skills - Experience in Aluminum Die Cast product development and part/process; automotive manufacturing business acumen and investment/cost control; and quality/problem solving of high pressure die casting.
