What you'll do

- Consult with departments on their strategic governance, including guiding how to set up data within departments, teams, roles, and duties.
- Gain an understanding of client requirements by using cases and translating them into data governance solutions
- Provide examples of standards and case studies of best practices in data governance to establish an effective and efficient Collibra-based data governance solution.
- Facilitates and participates in Data Governance Council meetings

What you'll need

- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, accounting, or related field preferred.
- Requires a minimum of seven years of progressively increasing related experience.
- Experience with maturity assessments, catalogs, and acquiring and ingesting metadata into data catalogs from external data sources.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to identify, reach out to, and work with resources from business and technical IT.
- Knowledge of strategy and technical roadmap planning, data quality, and standard business analysis techniques
- Knowledge of the data governance tool, Collibra DGC is advantageous, although not essential
- Understanding of master data management, data governance, data quality controls and measures, and databases and data structures
- Ability to explain concepts of data governance to business and technical stakeholders, and work closely with the Collibra Lead.
