Lead Data Engineer Job

We’re seeking a Lead Data Engineer to drive innovation in our data ecosystem. In this role, you will:

Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines using Azure Services.
Build and maintain a modern data lake to support evolving business needs.
Lead the evaluation and integration of emerging technologies to enhance our data platform.
Collaborate with analysts, architects, and stakeholders to define scalable, high-performing data architectures.
What You Bring
Expertise in designing and managing data pipelines, storage, and compute components.
Hands-on experience with Azure-based data solutions (e.g., Azure Functions, Data Factory, Data Lake, SQL, Synapse, Streaming Analytics).
Strong understanding of Data Lake architectures and ETL/ELT processes.
Proficiency with tools like PLSQL, Spark, PySpark, Python, and Pandas.
Experience in DevOps (Azure DevOps) and modernizing Hadoop/Teradata data warehouses.
Must-Have Qualifications
Proven leadership experience in data engineering and analytics.
Deep knowledge of Azure DevOps or similar tools.
Strong expertise in Data Lake architectures and data platform strategies.
A background in advanced data analytics and cloud-based data engineering.
Experience & Education
BS or MS in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or a similar domain.
