NAME OF EMPLOYER: Maas Energy Works, LLC
POSITION TITLE: LCFS Manager
POSITION DUTIES: Perform financial and operational data analysis related to LCFS programs, including validating, reconciling, analyzing production, environmental, and fuel delivery data to quantify financial impacts, support regulatory compliance, and optimize LCFS credit generation; Oversee LCFS credit calculation and reporting by applying carbon intensity (CI) values to verified fuel volumes, ensuring accuracy, consistency and audit readiness, and integrating these outputs into financial models and management reports; Track and manage LCFS credits as environmental commodities, including valuation, position monitoring, and development of forecasts and revenue estimates to support budgeting and strategic planning; Support preparation and submission of fuel pathway applications and lifecycle emissions analyses by translating modeling outputs into CI values and incorporating these into LCFS credit and revenue forecasting models; Serve as the key point of contact with regulatory agencies, including CARB on LCFS data reporting, and credit related financial impacts, ensuring accurate submission, documentation, and timely responses to data and methodology inquiries; Supervise staff and review financial and operational analyses related to LCFS credit generation and reporting, ensuring, data integrity, analytical quality and consistent application of financial and compliance standards; and Maintain monitoring, reporting, and recordkeeping systems so that LCFS credit and related financial records are complete, accurate, and audit-ready, and support internal and external audits as needed.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: This position requires Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Accounting or a related field and 36 months (3 years) of experience as an Accountant, Financial Analyst or related field. This position also requires prior experience in regulatory and compliance-focused financial reporting
