Laundry Attendant Job

Duties

Operate industrial laundry machines to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and guest clothing with precision and care.
Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results.
Handle delicate items with special care, including dry cleaning processes when necessary.
Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by organizing supplies and ensuring equipment is sanitized regularly.
Assist with inventory management by tracking linen supplies and notifying management when stock levels are low.
Follow safety protocols during all laundry procedures to prevent accidents or damage.

Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
Strong understanding of laundry techniques, including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning processes.
Ability to operate industrial laundry equipment safely and effectively.
Excellent attention to detail to ensure linens are spotless and well-maintained.
Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads as needed.
Basic knowledge of cleaning standards and safety procedures in a hospitality environment.
