Position Info:
• Position: Child-care Centre Director
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $45.02/hour
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 1
• Work Location: 101-335 Carnarvon St., New Westminster, BC V3L 1B9

Job Duties:
• Plan, organize, and implement high-quality early childhood education (ECE) programs
• Assess child-care programs and curriculum development to ensure continuous quality improvement and child engagement
• Establish clear administrative guidelines for center staff, enrollment procedures, and daily routine management
• Recruit, onboard, and deliver professional development training for certified ECE teachers and support staff
• Lead, supervise, and provide ongoing guidance to the childcare team to maintain a supportive and high-performing work environment
• Mentor and coach educators to enhance their childcare delivery and classroom management skills
• Establish and monitor an annual operating budget, including operational resources, staffing costs, and program expenses
• Address and resolve workplace issues or conflicts involving parents and staff members with professionalism
• Collaborate with stakeholders and represent the centre in communications with regulatory bodies, community partners, and external organizations

Job requirements:
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a related field is required
• Education: College Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Education is required
• Language: English
