Position Information

• Position: Early Childhood Educator
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $20.00 ~ $26.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hour: 30 - 40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 1

Job Duties:

• Plan and implement childcare programs to promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children and operate at all times in compliance with all childcare licensing standards
• Responsible for the constant supervision, security, and well-being of children
• Assess the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss problems/progress with parents and with management regularly
• Observe and responds to the needs of each child
• Recognize behavioural problems and prepare reports for parents
• Assist and encourage children to learn proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
• Establish and maintain weekly and monthly activities
• Maintain a collaborative relationship with co-workers
• Perform other duties as may be assigned by management

Position Requirements:

• Experience: Experience is an asset
• Education: College Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Education is required
• Certificate: First Aid Certificate & CPR Certificate and E.C.E. Certificate
• Language: English
