Reports to: Duty Manager

Education: Secondary/High school completed or equivalent

Duties & Responsibilities:
Duties may include but are not limited to the following items:
● Direct planting of trees, gardens and lawns
● Organize planting of trees, gardens and lawns
● Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
● Plan, manage and supervise landscape construction work
● Plan and estimate the materials and labour requirements for individual contracts
● Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers who maintain lawns, gardens for residential and commercial buildings
● Organize the planting and maintenance of trees, gardens, lawns, shrubs and hedges and the construction and installation of fences, decks, patios, walkways
● Requisition supplies and material
● Train workers in job duties and company policies
● Set grades, elevations and distances as required and/or as shown on site plans.
● Operate equipment, compactors, cutoff saws, grinders.
● Help to prepare sites ahead of daily installations.
● Manage site deliveries and assistant with placement, logistics.
● Assist with daily maintenance of equipment and site cleaning.
● Have an eye for detail.
● Maintain effective communication with team members and management regarding project updates and any issues that arise.

Wage: $34.62 hourly

Physically demanding, combination of sitting, standing, walking, attention to detail, work under pressure
