Alan’s Lawn & Garden services DBA Alan’s Lawn & Garden in Burnaby, BC is looking for a Full-Time, Permanent landscaping supervisor.

Conditions:
• Job Title: Landscaping Supervisor (82031)
• Full-Time, Permanent position, 30-40 hours/week
• Hourly Wage: $35/hour (wage to be determined depending on experience and skills)
• Vacation: 4% of gross salary
• Ability to work on weekends or holidays according to the working schedule.
• Number of Positions: 1

And the candidate will be expected to work at various sites in Greater Vancouver (Burnaby, Richmond, Vancouver, Coquitlam, etc.)

Job Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school is required
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a landscape or horticulture supervisor or as a landscape or horticulture technician is required
• Language: English

Job Duties:
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers who maintain commercial, strata, residential lawns, gardens, and other landscaped areas
• Plan and estimate the maintenance materials and labour requirements for individual contracts
• Organize the plant installations and maintenance of trees, gardens, lawns, shrubs, and hedges, and the construction and installation of fences, decks, patios, walkways, and retaining walls
• Establish daily/weekly work schedules and procedures
• Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress reports
• Requisition supplies and materials
• Maintain personnel records
• Training workers in job duties and following company policies
