Main duties
• Survey and assess landscapes to determine the best design and maintenance practices.
• Create sketches, blueprints, and models of landscape designs.
• Construct and maintain gardens, parks, golf courses, and other landscaped environments.
• Provide clients with advice on horticultural issues, including plant selection, irrigation, and pest control.
• Breed and cultivate a variety of plants, ensuring optimal growth and health.
• Diagnose and treat injured or diseased trees and plants, applying appropriate remedies.
• Work closely with landscape designers and contractors to execute landscaping projects.
• Monitor and maintain the health and appearance of plants, trees, and lawns in various environments.
• Use specialized tools and equipment to perform landscaping and horticultural tasks.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
• Additional tasks as directed by the supervisor.
Employment requirements
• Completion of secondary school is required
• Minimum 2 years of work experince is required
