Job Description:
The Landscape Artist Inc. is looking for full time Landscaper for 16101 258 Avenue East, Foothills, AB, T1S 4E9. There are 10 positions available.
Main duties are as follows but not limited to:
• Follow Plans and construct landscaped environments, including trees, shrubberies, lawns, fences, decks, patios, and other landscape structures and materials.
• Perform hazard assessments and actively participate in a safe work environment.
• Follow designs, prep, and install synthetic turfs.
• Assist in the design and construction of water features.
• Follow plans to identify locations and installation of landscape lighting.
• Plan and install irrigation systems.
• Follow Plans and identify and coordinate the use of plants for landscaping, ornamental uses and other purposes.
• Survey and assess sites, prepare drawings, sketches and reports, and perform other duties to assist landscape architects in designing landscaped environments.
• Plant private and public lawns and gardens.
• Effectively communicate internally and with various crews to improve efficiencies.
Hours of work are Monday to Saturday, 40 hours per week. Pay is $24.00/hour. Successful candidates must speak English. Secondary school education is required. Minimum work experience is two years of hands-on experience.
