Type of Employment: Full Time – Seasonal / 7-month contract

Job Description:

Assist with landscape constructions

Tying

Weed, prune and trim trees and plants

Cut grass

Rake and collect refuse

Remove litter and garbage

Cart and spread topsoil and other materials

Lay sod or seed

Apply fertilizers

Repair and maintain equipment

Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens

Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment

Move golf pin locations

Requirements:

Education: No formal education is required

Experience working at a golf course is an asset. Training will be provided.

Driver’s license is preferred to operate machinery.

Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling

Personal Suitability: Initiative, Reliability, Organized, Flexibility, Team player, Dependability

Weight handling: Up to 13.5 kg (50 lbs)

Language: Basic level of English is required

Salary: $19.00 hourly, 32-48 Hours per week.

Benefits: We will provide bicycles for transportation (if required), uniforms for work. Transportation costs covered if worker needs to relocate. Accommodation provided at a cost.

Other information:

-The workers will work 6 to 12 hours a day, and up to 6 days per week in a flexible work schedule based on the business needs. Shift starts as early as 4:45am. Workers will be required to work weekdays and weekends, overtime is required.

Workers needed for this season starting as early as Mid-March 2025.
