Cut grass
Rake and collect refuse
Remove litter and garbage
Cart and spread topsoil and other materials
Lay sod or seed
Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees
Apply fertilizers
Dig cemetery graves
Repair and maintain equipment
Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens
Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment
Remove snow
Install fences

Requirements
Education: Some secondary school education is required
Experience: Experience is an asset. On-the-job training will be provided
Knowledge of the use of small engine equipment and tractor is a strong asset.
Work conditions and Physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling
Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, Team Player, Flexibility, Organized, Reliability
Work Site Environment: Noisy, Outdoors, Odours, Dusty, Hot, Working under various weather conditions.
Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Language: Basic level of English is required
Salary: $20.00 hourly, 40 hours per week
Benefits: Paramedical services coverage, Work uniforms and tools provided by the employer, Transportation among work locations is provided by the employer, Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), Transportation costs covered if worker needs to relocate.
Important Information: The worker will work 8-hour shifts between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday. Flexibility on schedule may be required as some days may start earlier and others finish later depending on the business needs and weather conditions. Work on weekends and overtime may be required. *We guarantee at least 30 hours of work per week regardless of the weather*
