Position: Landscape Horticulturist
Wage: C$ 24.00-30.00 hourly (to be negotiated)
Working Hours: 30 - 40 hours working / week (to be negotiated)
Vacation Pay: 4% of gross salary
Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
Work Location: 204C- 3690 Shelbourne St, Victoria, BC, V8P 4H2

Job duties:
• Create landscape design plans and responsible for the actual construction work of landscape projects.
• Supervise the execution of the entire project, including communication and coordination with clients, contractors, and other horticultural professionals
• Responsible for planting, pruning, trimming, and weeding.
• Choose and arrange plants based on geographical location, climatic conditions, soil types, and client preferences. This includes selecting trees, shrubs, flowers, and other ground cover plants.
• Evaluate soil conditions and take measures to improve soil for promoting plant growth.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in horticulture, landscaping techniques, and plant species to enhance professional knowledge and skills.
