Position: Landscape Gardener
Type of employment: Permanent, Full Time

Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible.
Work Location: Various Locations in Lower Mainland (BC)
Salary and Benefits
Salary: $23.50 per hour
Overtime and Vacation Pay
Stable & full-time employment
Job Responsibilities
• Interact with clients and propose ideas or options for different types of landscaping.
• Plan and execute small-scale landscaping operations by participating with labour in preparing and grading terrain, applying fertilizers, seeding, and sodding lawns, and transplanting shrubs and plants.
• Maintain grounds and landscape of private residences and businesses.
• Plant new and repair established lawns, using gardening implements, seed mixtures and fertilizers recommended for particular soil types and lawn locations.
• Locate and plant shrubs, trees, and flowers selected by the property owner or those recommended for particular landscape effects.
• Identify disease or pest issues on properties and implement treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain safe working conditions, following all relevant safety procedures and guidelines.
• Perform other landscape gardening duties as requested.
Job Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of experience in landscaping and/or gardening.
• Education in related fields would be an asset.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Positive attitude and excellent work ethic.
• Willing to work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to effectively motivate, encourage and lead a team to complete projects in a timely, organized, and efficient manner.
