Landscape Field Manager Job

As a Landscape Supervisor, you’ll oversee day-to-day field operations for residential and commercial landscaping projects. This includes managing crews, coordinating materials and equipment, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring that jobs are completed efficiently, on time, and with excellent workmanship. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, experience in landscaping or outdoor construction, and leadership skills to inspire a productive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:

-Supervise and coordinate daily work of landscape crews (2–6 people)
-Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, or work orders
-Ensure work is performed to company quality standards and customer specifications
-Train, coach, and evaluate crew members to improve performance
-Monitor job site safety and enforce company policies
-Communicate with clients on-site to address questions or concerns
-Coordinate delivery of materials, tools, and equipment
-Keep daily records of labor, materials, job progress, and incidents
-Report regularly to project managers or company leadership

Qualifications:

-Proven experience in landscape maintenance and landscaping techniques
-Strong supervisory skills with a focus on leadership and team management
-Knowledge of lawn care, tree care, and horticulture practices
-Familiarity with irrigation systems and groundskeeping tasks
-Ability to oversee maintenance operations and ensure quality standards are met
-Relevant certifications in landscaping or horticulture are a plus
