Landscape Carpenter Job

Isidore Landscapes Inc., an established landscaping company, located at 21200 River Road, Richmond, BC V6V 1M3, has
been designing, installing, and maintaining landscapes in the Lower Mainland since 1994. Over the years, we have built strong working relationships with construction companies, home builders, and landscape architects.

Position Details:

Job Title: Landscape Carpenter
Number of positions: 3
Job Type: Full time, permanent position with 40 hours per week.
Compensation: $36.60 per hour. Overtime at the rate of 1.5 times after 8 hours per day/40 hours per week.

Key duties:

. Read & interpret drawings & sketches to determine specifications.
. Take the measurement and estimate the size, cost and amount of material required.
. Estimate the cost for clients.
. Cut, shape, & assemble wood and other materials according to the measurements using electrical and manual
equipment and measurement tools.
. Design and build out a variety of structures related to landscape including fences, pergolas, decks, screens, cabanas, shade structures, cabinetry, patios, entry gates, wood stairs, benches and other decorative features.
. Inspect and conduct repairs and maintenance.
. Supervise and demonstrate to others to complete carpentry related tasks.
. Possess the basic understanding of the BC Building Code & Lower Mainland bylaws
. Prepare estimates, budgets, schedules and manage jobsite progress.

Requirements:

. Education: Completion of secondary school
. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in carpentry field
. Language: Good verbal and written communication skills in English

Work Conditions:
