Duties:
• Responsible for the planning and coordination of all planting projects as well as monitoring the growth and use of plants for landscaping purposes
• Plant and maintain lawns and gardens in addition to other lawn maintenance related tasks such as lawn mowing and soil removal
• Plan and construct landscaped environments with the use of carpentry, heavy masonry tools and other construction labour related tasks
• Assess the health of lawns and apply fertilizer, pesticides and other lawn care products
• Responsible for tree pruning and monitoring all trees to diagnose problems and suggest/implement treatment plans
• Responsible for ravine protection and maintenance of other landscaped environments

Requirements:
• Completion of a two-to-three year college program or University degree in agronomy, arboriculture, horticulture, landscaping, landscape design or landscape technology is required
• 2+ years of experience in landscaping and agronomy is required
