• Leading a field crew conducting various types of field surveys
• Operating and maintaining survey instruments and device
• Recording measurements and other survey information with a high level of redundancy and rigor during survey activities
• Quality control and assurance of survey field notes and field data
• Conducting calculations and analysis of measurements and results
• Assist in the preparation of detailed drawing and plans
• Mentoring and training of junior staff

• Completion of a one- to two-year college program in geomatics or land survey technology.
• Minimum 1 year of field experience in legal land surveying.
• Solid understanding of surveying principles.
• Field experience in legal, topographic and construction surveys.
• Working experience with total stations and GNSS receivers.
• Physically fir and capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Efficient time management and strong written and oral communication skills.
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License.
• Minimum 1 year of field experience in legal land surveying.
• Solid understanding of surveying principles.
• Field experience in legal, topographic and construction surveys.
