Laboratory Solution Development Scientist

Duty:
Conduct research in biotechnology and genomics, using bioscience theory or method, creating novel analytical tools as required by research goals; Consult with the researchers at the company laboratories to analyze problems that arose during the research, recommending biotechnology-based solutions or strategies.
Play a key role in designing and validating new bioscience laboratory services across Next Generation Genomics (NGS) services; Prepare validation plans, perform feasibility testing, and compile technical reports for internal review and service launch; Conduct technical training sessions and transfer validated protocols to the production team.
Develop and optimize laboratory workflows for Olink proteomics that analyze proteins in biological samples, leading the automation development and proteomics services to ensure compliance with all the requirements needed for the successful service; Perform proof-of-concept and pilot tests, followed by detailed documentation; Support technology transfer to routine operations.
Interacting with the customers in hospitals and universities to provide information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests about genomic sequencing services and analysis results; Communicate research results through conference presentations, scientific publications, or project reports. Provide hands-on biotechnological support for troubleshooting ongoing Next Generation Genomics (NGS) services; Investigate root causes of assay failures and implement corrective actions.
Evaluate new bioscience technologies and service opportunities in collaboration with external vendors and clients; Lead biotechnological discussions and pilot testing of potential new genomics sequencing or workflows.
Minimum Job Requirements
Ph.D. degree in Biology or Veterinary Science and 6 months of post-graduate experience in the offered position or Research & Development Scientist
