Job Title: Kitchen Helper
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Overtime, Weekend, Morning, Day, Evening.
Wage Rate: $17.85 per hour for 40.00 hours per week. Overtime paid after 40.00 hours.
Number of Vacancies: 5
Anticipated Start Date (at the latest in 3 months): As soon as possible
Location: 116 East 15th Street, North Vancouver, British Columbia V7L 2P9 Canada
Education: High School is an asset
Experience: No experience required. On the job training will be provided.
Languages: Basic knowledge of English
Work Setting: Restaurant
Job Duties:
• Help around the kitchen as in washing, peeling and cutting fruits and vegetables.
• Clear and clean tables and trays from dining area.
• Wash and sanitize working stations, knives and cutting boards, when necessary, throughout the shift.
• Wash and sanitize all dishes, pans and pots using dishwasher and by hand when required.
• Dry all dishes and put them in their respective storage places.
• May help in packing online orders to speed up the process.
• Take out garbage bins and clean and sanitize them properly.
• Sweep and mop the floor whenever required.
Essential Skills: Communication; Working with others; Problem solving; Continuous learning.
Other: Candidate should be legally entitled to work in Canada.
