is in need of Kitchen Helper
NOC Code: 65201
Employment Terms: Full Time - Permanent
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Help the cooks to prepare meals.
2. Chop and cut vegetables and meat.
3. Unload shipments of food and other supplies to be used in the kitchen.
4. Remove trash and clean the kitchen area.
5. Sweep and mop floors, and perform other duties to assists cook and kitchen staff.
Knowledge and Skills:
1. Ability to use your initiative and work in a team.
2. Ability to follow instructions
3. Ability to carry out tasks quickly and competently
4. Ability to follow all sanitation procedures.
5. Knowledge of kitchen safety requirements.
Employment Requirements:
1. Education: Some secondary school education is required
2. Work Experience: On-the-job training will be provided
Working Hours: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week, shift work between 10AM to 10PM, Monday to Sunday, 2 varied days off per week
Wage: $16.00/hour
