Kitchen Helper/Food Counter Attendant Job

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper / Food Counter Attendant to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized kitchen and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
-Bring clean dishes, utensils, and supplies to serving areas and set tables
-Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs
-Load buspans and trays; operate dishwashers to clean dishes, glassware, and flatware
-Sanitize kitchen equipment, mats, carts, and waste disposal units
-Wash dishes and kitchen items by hand; scour pots and pans
-Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, cupboards, appliances, and storage areas
-Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors; remove garbage and trash
-Handle and store cleaning products safely
-Assist with basic food preparation: washing, peeling, cutting vegetables and fruit
-Portion, package, and wrap food items; prepare and heat simple meals
-Stock refrigerators, salad bars, and serving areas
-Replenish condiments and supplies
-Take customer orders and serve food at counters or buffet tables
-Package take-out food
-Keep records of food quantities used
-Receive, unpack, and store deliveries in proper storage areas

Requirements
-Safe Food Handling Certificate (required)
-Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
