Responsibilities
Tasks
1. Wash, sanitize and store dishes, pizza pans, utensils, cutting boards and kitchen equipment.
2. Operate commercial dishwashers to clean dishes, glassware, flatware and cooking utensils.
3. Clean and sanitize pizza preparation tables, work surfaces, ovens, refrigerators and other kitchen equipment.
4. Assist cooks by washing, peeling, slicing and preparing vegetables, meats and other pizza ingredients.
5. Portion and prepare toppings such as vegetables, meats and cheeses for pizza and other menu items.
6. Restock food supplies, pizza boxes, condiments and kitchen inventory as required.
7. Remove kitchen garbage and recycling, and ensure waste is disposed of according to health and safety standards.
8. Sweep, mop, wash and sanitize kitchen floors, storage areas and food preparation areas.
9. Handle, label and store food and cleaning products following food safety and sanitation procedures.
10. Receive, unload and organize food deliveries and place supplies in designated storage areas.
11. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations, carts, trays and waste disposal units.
12. Assist with general kitchen operations to ensure efficient food preparation and timely customer service.
