The company provides renovation, remodeling, construction and disaster-restoration services for residential, commercial and industrial properties, with a focus on professional repairs and minimal disruption to clients.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Kitchen Cupboard and Vanity Installer will read and interpret blueprints and work orders, determine installation layouts and procedures, measure and mark installation areas, and install, repair and service prefabricated kitchen cupboards, cabinets and bathroom vanities using hand and power tools. The position is also responsible for ensuring that all components are accurately fitted, levelled, aligned, securely fastened and properly functioning.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review project plans and assess kitchen and bathroom spaces before beginning installation work.
• Take accurate site measurements and establish the placement of cabinets, cupboards and vanities.
• Dismantle and remove damaged or outdated cabinetry and vanity units during restoration projects.
• Assemble, position, level and secure prefabricated cabinets, cupboards, vanities and countertops.
• Trim and custom-fit panels, fillers, toe kicks and mouldings to accommodate existing site conditions.
• Attach and adjust doors, drawers, shelves, hinges, handles and sliding hardware.
• Restore or replace components affected by water, fire, impact or general property damage.
• Operate installation tools safely, verify the finished work and leave the work area clean.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Education: Completion of secondary education
• Experience: 2 years of work experience in the position
• Languages: Proficiency in English
