Position Info:
• Position: Restoration Carpenter
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $37.00-$38.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 1
• Work Location: 1-1921 Broadway St, Port Coquitlam, BC V3C 2N2
Benefits:

Job Duties:
• Coordinate on-site reconstruction schedules and workflows
• Develop construction layouts to ensure compliance with building codes
• Interpret blueprints and restoration briefs to plan structural repairs for water-damaged properties
• Survey building levels, layouts, and foundations to assess flood damage and ensure precise structural alignment
• Estimate labor and material costs to generate repair quotes for clients
• Fabricate and assemble wood, lightweight steel, and substitute materials to replace ruined structural elements
• Rebuild frameworks, focusing on subflooring, floor beams, walls, and roof systems
• Install doors, windows, stairs, and interior trim to seamlessly restore properties
Job requirements:
• Experience: 3-5 years of relevant carpentry experience is required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Language: English
