• Position: Housing Construction Manager
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $50.00/hr
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

• Work Location: 2786 Lake Breeze Court, Langford, BC V9B 6L6
Benefits:
• 4% vacation pay
Job Duties:
• Plan and oversee the daily operations of residential tiling and construction projects to ensure work is completed efficiently and according to project requirements
• Supervise tile setters and other construction employees, assign daily work, establish priorities and monitor the quality and productivity of their work
• Develop construction schedules and project milestones and monitor progress to ensure projects are completed within established timelines
• Review architectural drawings, floor plans, specifications and measurements to determine project requirements, installation methods and material needs
• Prepare labour and material cost estimates for residential construction and tiling projects and monitor project expenditures against approved budgets
• Recruit, train and supervise construction employees and assess staffing requirements based on current and upcoming projects
• Establish workmanship and quality-control procedures for tile installation and related construction activities and ensure completed work meets company and project standards
• Coordinate the ordering and delivery of tiles, adhesives, grout, waterproofing materials and other construction supplies required for each project
• Monitor job-site operations and address scheduling, staffing, material or workmanship issues that may affect project completion
• Maintain project records and prepare reports on work progress, labour utilization, project costs and completion status for management
Job Requirements:
• Language: English
• Experience: Five or more years of supervisory experience in the construction industry is required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
