Junior SEO Specialist Job

We’re seeking a motivated Junior SEO Specialist to support our mission of transforming online visibility for clients. In this role, you’ll assist in executing SEO campaigns, conducting audits, and optimizing websites under the guidance of senior team members. Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz.
Optimize on-page elements (meta tags, headers, content) for improved search performance.
Assist in technical SEO audits to identify crawl errors, site speed issues, and mobile-friendliness.
Monitor backlink profiles and support outreach strategies.
Generate performance reports via Google Analytics, Search Console, and custom dashboards.
Stay updated on SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices.
Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to align SEO with broader goals.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Foundational understanding of SEO principles (on-page, off-page, technical).
Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog).
Basic HTML/CSS knowledge (ability to troubleshoot simple code issues).
Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and teamwork ethic.
Proactive learner with a passion for digital marketing.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify).
Exposure to PPC or content marketing.
Certifications in Google Analytics, Google Ads, or SEO courses (e.g., Moz Academy).
