Reporting to the Controller of Operations, the JA will play a key role in operational accounting, ensuring
timely and accurate financial reporting in a complex, multi-entity, cross-border environment. This role
provide effective and efficient support to the Account Payable group. The JA will ensure freight/supplier
invoices are properly approved and are consistent with company processes and procedures, outstanding
items are reconciled, and issues are resolved by communicating both internally and externally. The position
requires hands-on ERP experience (NetSuite) and thrives in a dynamic, growing organization with both ecommerce and bricks-and-mortar operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensure all Accounts Payable activities are completed accurately and on schedule during month-end
• close to support reliable general ledger balances.
• Process, enter, and pay invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and proactively resolve issues with suppliers on a daily basis.
• Reconcile supplier statements and respond to A/P inquiries.
• Prepare weekly and monthly bank and credit card reconciliations, including related journal entries and review of intercompany transactions.
• Process employee expense reimbursements in accordance with company policies.
• Identify, investigate, and report discrepancies arising during reconciliations.
• Build strong working relationships with suppliers and maintain clear, professional communication.
• Assist with additional Accounts Payable tasks as needed.
• Maintain organized and accurate paper and electronic filing systems for supplier records.
• Support the preparation of short-term cash flow forecasts.
• Ensure adherence to accounting policies and internal controls; identify and recommend process improvements.
• Support external audit requirements by preparing and providing necessary documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Completion of third level program in business/ accounting related discipline is required
• Exceptional verbal and written English.
• 2+ years’ work experience in accounting technician role.
