Position Info:
• Position: Carpenter
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $37/hour
• Working Hours: 30-44 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 1
• Work Location: 6-1539 34 Avenue SW, Calgary, AB T2T 2B2

Job Duties:
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements and execution methods
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install a variety of construction materials including wood, steel, and composite products
• Plan and coordinate on-site work activities to ensure projects are completed efficiently and within timelines
• Prepare accurate estimates of labour and material costs to support project planning and budgeting
• Supervise and provide guidance to junior carpenters and labourers to maintain quality workmanship and safety standards
• Perform renovation, repair, and maintenance work on residential and commercial structures as required
• Ensure all work complies with applicable safety regulations and building standards

Job requirements:
• Language: English
• Experience: 3-5 years of related experience is required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
