Journalist Job

Research, write, and report news stories and feature articles for print and online publication; Gather information through research, interviews, observation, and review of reference materials to ensure complete and accurate reporting; Examine news items and evaluate leads or tips to develop story ideas and news content; Arrange and conduct interviews with individuals who can provide information regarding news stories or feature topics; Write articles, columns, commentaries, and online content for publication or broadcast; Select and organize material most relevant to presentation and determine story emphasis, length, and format according to editorial standards; Photograph or videotape news events and interviews for inclusion in stories and media content; Review, revise, and edit written materials to meet editorial approval and publication guidelines; Communicate with readers, viewers, advertisers, and the general public through email, telephone, and online platforms.

Requirements: Associate in Arts in Mass Communications or Related.
