POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a Jewelry Sales Professional to join a well-established retail jewelry environment in Owensboro, Kentucky. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, creating a strong in-store customer experience, and driving sales through a consultative approach.
The right person will be proactive, personable, and motivated to develop repeat and referral business through consistent follow-up and clienteling. This role is a strong fit for someone with experience in jewelry, luxury retail, or another customer-facing sales environment who is looking to grow in a long-term sales career.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities:
• Drive sales through proactive customer engagement and relationship-building.
• Develop and maintain a personal client base through consistent clienteling and follow-up.
• Meet and exceed individual sales goals and performance expectations.
• Guide customers through bridal, fine jewelry, watches, and gift purchases using a consultative sales approach.
• Actively follow up with clients to generate repeat and referral business.
• Participate in store events, trunk shows, and promotional initiatives to help drive traffic and sales.
• Maintain high standards of showroom presentation, merchandising, and organization.
• Support daily store operations including merchandise handling, inventory support, and general showroom upkeep.
• Collaborate with leadership and team members to contribute to overall store performance and customer satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum 1 to 3+ years of experience in retail sales, customer-facing sales, or consultative selling.
• Jewelry, luxury retail, or other high-touch sales experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a structured retail environment, including Saturdays.
• High level of professionalism, dependability, and accountability.
WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENT
Location: Onsite in Owensboro, KY
Schedule:
• Tuesday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Saturday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Closed Sundays and Mondays
• Retail showroom environment with a blend of customer-facing sales and operational responsibilities.
• No travel required.
COMPENSATION
• Hourly range: $15.00 to $20.00 per hour, depending on experience
• Opportunity for long-term growth within an established retail jewelry business
