Position Info:
• Position: Home Child Care Provider
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $23.00/hour
• Working Hours: 30 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 1
• Work Location: 3183 Duval Road, North Vancouver, BC V7J 3E3
Benefits:
• 10 days paid vacation per year
• $200/month (vehicle and gas stipend)
Job Duties:
• Supervise and care for children in the employer’s home and nearby
• Prepare and serve meals tailored to the children’s needs
• Bathe, dress, and feed children
• Maintain a safe, healthy, clean and tidy environment in the home
• Drive children to school, activities and other appointments as required
• Support children’s emotional well-being and instruct them on personal hygiene and social development
• Offer age-appropriate educational activities, including games and outings for the children
• Supervise and assist with homework
• Grocery shop for food and household supplies if required
• Ability to work split shifts if required by the employer
Job requirements:
• Experience: 1-2 years of related experience is required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Language: English
• Other: Candidates who have a valid driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle will be preferred
