Janitor - NOC: 65312 Job

We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of our clients' premises, including outdoor maintenance such as grass cutting in summer and snow shoveling in winter. This role requires proficiency in operating cleaning equipment and a proactive approach to maintaining a sanitary environment.

Responsibilities:
• Utilize industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris, dirt, and refuse from floors and surfaces.
• Clean windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a neat and presentable appearance.
• Empty trash cans and waste containers regularly to prevent overflow and maintain cleanliness.
• Perform sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and waxing of hallways, floors, and stairs as needed.
• Clear snow and ice from walkways and parking areas to ensure safe passage for occupants (winter season).
• Maintain outdoor areas by cutting grass and tending grounds (summer season).
• Clean and disinfect washrooms, including fixtures, to promote hygiene and sanitation.
• May assist with moving heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as necessary to facilitate cleaning operations.

Requirements:
• Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred.
• Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment effectively and safely.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Education:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
