Job Description:
Trempealeau County is recruiting for the position of Jailer, to establish a candidate pool to fill potential future vacancies. The vacancies have potential to be Part-Time/Fill-In or Full-Time.
The first round of applicant interviews will be held Tuesday, February 20th, 2024
Required: To be considered for a position, applicants are required to complete the WI Dept. of Justice Application DJ-LE-30, along with answering the questions in section six of the application. You will need to attach the completed DJ-LE-30 application, along with your answers for section 6 with your submission.

The purpose of positions in this classification is to perform duties involving care, safety and custody of inmates in accordance with applicable state and federal laws. Daily operations, activities and decisions are made semi-independently within the parameters of Trempealeau County Jail policies and procedures. The work is performed under the supervision of the Jail Sergeant and / or Jail Captain.
