• Position: Restaurant Assistant Manager
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $36.70/hour
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 1
• Work Location: 260 4 Ave, Kamloops, BC V2C 3N5
Benefits:
• 4% vacation pay
Job Duties:
• Assist the Manager in evaluating daily restaurant operations and identifying areas for improvement
• Supervise staff during assigned shifts to ensure smooth service and proper completion of duties
• Help prepare staff work schedules and coordinate shift coverage when required
• Train and guide staff on customer service standards, restaurant procedures, and workplace safety practices
• Monitor staff performance during daily operations and report major performance concerns to the Manager
• Organize and maintain inventory records, and report supply needs to the Manager
• Address customer inquiries, complaints, or concerns in a professional manner and escalate serious issues when necessary
Job requirements:
• Language: English
• Experience: 2-3 years of supervisory experience in food service industry is required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
